In this photo, taken March 14th, 2012 at Fermilab, Batavia, Illinois I was doing a soundcheck with Lulo Reinhardt (great nephew of Django Reinhardt). Minutes earlier I was introduced to Lulo by my new friend, Lynda Kraar, and he finds out I play guitar. “Let’s do a soundcheck”, he says.

During the concert, I’m invited onstage for a special encore, along with opening act Sébastien Giniaux, playing with Lulo and his Latin Jazz group.
